What does it mean, “To Be Uncommon”?
I’m glad you asked.

In a phrase: Meek and in Control.

Or to put it another way: Bold, Daring, Meek.

Granted, these are not concepts we might normally put together, indeed it is rather common not to do so. But it is just here, where living fully, freely, and in control (of your emotions, your reactions, and, in so doing, your destiny) actually meet, that Uncommon Lives are produced and shine.

Now, I could go on and on with this topic, but we already have many blog posts concerning this already. And we only mention this now because this is the essence of what we are about; of what drives and motivates us. Even when it appears that no one else is looking, listening, or even caring.

We want to help others discover that being noble is actually very cool and exciting and to dispute that it is shallow and boring. We want to inspire others to live nobly and well, to live a rich and abundant life. Please note: RICHNESS OF LIFE has nothing to do with finances. Zilch, zero, zip (how’s that for a fancy alliteration?).

We want to inspire others to see that:
While Passion unfettered is chaos
And Passion chained up is hollowness,
That Passion harnessed is where life is best.

Passion harnessed, directed, channeled, and under control allows you to be:
Bold enough to look life in the eye and say,”Bring it!”
Daring enough to take the risks that make life worth living and
Meek (in control of yourself) enough not to let it all go to your head.

We use stories, poetry, photography, blog posts, and podcasts to accomplish this. The majority of material used is originated here at the Eadarian Network. Where we use material produced by others, proper credit is given.
